Job summary

Enable is a dynamic social care organisation in Scotland seeking a Service Manager to lead and develop services for people with learning disabilities. You will guide frontline staff and support teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a local operational context.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in children’s residential and community services, drive culture change, and foster partnerships with families, commissioners and third sector partners.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading and managing children’s residential and community services.
• Experience managing teams with knowledge of culture change.
• Commitment to inclusion of children with a learning disability.
• Understanding of Self Directed Support Act and principles.
• SVQ Health & Social Care Level 3 is essential; SVQ Level 4 or progression toward registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support local Team Facilitators to manage frontline staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with families and Social Care professionals.
• Drive the local delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with ENABLE Scotland’s mission.
