Job summary

InHealth Group Limited is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Service Manager to join the North Bristol Community Diagnostic Centre and provide operational leadership for the Endoscopy service, ensuring safe, high‑quality patient care and efficient delivery across the site.

You will work with the Lead Nurse and Regional Operations Manager to drive service improvements, recruit and develop the Healthcare Support Worker team, and maintain governance and regulatory standards while balancing competing

Qualifications

• Experience in service or operational management within a healthcare environment.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate high‑performing teams.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining quality and care.
• Confident managing stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of healthcare governance, compliance and CQC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operational management and performance of the Endoscopy service.
• Drive service quality, patient safety, governance and regulatory compliance.

Working hours: 8am - 6pm / 4 days a week / Must be flexible through Monday to Sunday

Working alongside the Lead Nurse and Regional Operations Manager, you will provide operational leadership, support service development, and ensure the delivery of an exceptional patient experience across the site.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the day-to-day operational management and performance of the Endoscopy service.
• Driving service quality, patient safety, governance and regulatory compliance.
• Managing capacity, utilisation and key performance indicators to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Leading recruitment, development and performance management of the Healthcare Support Worker team.
• Working closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to identify and implement service improvements.

* This includes colleagues delivering face to face patient care in the Lung screening mobile units, Endoscopy, AAA Screening, Breast Screening, PET-CT, Audiology, Mobiles, Imaging Centres and CDC’s. Note that this payment is not applicable to clinical staff working within the Echocardiography division, or Diabetic Eye Screening. The Weekend Payment does not apply to those on a flexible working agreement and part time workers that have requested to work weekend hours/days as part of their working agreement. The Weekend Payment also doesn’t apply to those who are working remotely or carrying out administrative work from home.
