Position Summary

Samsung Networks is a leader in Open RAN network deployments worldwide. We are expanding our ORAN footprint in Europe and seeking motivated engineers to support new projects. Based in Reading, UK, the role involves designing and supporting SMO aspects of telecom networks, with travel as needed.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

• Lead SMO technical inputs for High and Low Level Designs.
• Define and populate LLD with SMO parameters.
• Lead workshops and gather customer sign-off.
• Collaborate with design leads and R&D teams.
• Maintain documentation and support testing phases.
• Support deployment and customer technical queries.

What we need for this role

• Experience in mobile network operations, maintenance, and support.
• Knowledge of telecom equipment and protocols (3GPP, LTE, 5G, vRAN).
• Linux OS, VNF/CNF, K8S/OpenStack skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Fluent English, ability to influence and build relationships.
