As a Service & Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in servicing, maintaining, and commissioning fire systems across Central Scotland.

The Role

The Service & Maintenance Engineer will be the face of the company, providing exceptional service and elevating our reputation as a trusted name in fire safety.

Responsibilities of a Service & Maintenance Engineer
  1. Maintain & service fire detection, alarm, and gas suppression systems.
  2. Commission new devices within existing fire safety setups.
  3. Respond to reactive and scheduled maintenance calls, ensuring compliance with British Standards & BAFE regulations.
  4. Deliver outstanding customer service to satisfy our high-end clients.
  5. Support business operations across projects and sales.
  6. Be an integral part of the on-call rota, with overtime opportunities.

What You Need
  • Experience with fire alarm systems like GENT, Siemens, Morley, Kentec, Notifier, Ziton & Eaton.
  • Knowledge of ATEX, VESDA, and graphical user interfaces.
  • An electrical background, with FIA certifications (Units 1, 4 & 5) desirable.
  • Ability to diagnose faults accurately and work under pressure.
  • Strong IT & customer service skills, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.
