Service Line Sales Specialist – Enterprise Integration & Process Orchestration (EIPO)

Location: London, United Kingdom
Work Model: Hybrid
Travel: Regular travel across the UK for client and partner engagements
Job Category: Sales & Business Development
Career Level: Associate Director

About the role

As a Service Line Sales Specialist (SLS) for Enterprise Integration & Process Orchestration (EIPO), you will play a pivotal role in accelerating Cognizant's growth across the UK market. You will be responsible for building and expanding strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth, and positioning Cognizant as a trusted partner for integration, orchestration, process automation, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to sell a portfolio that sits at the heart of enterprise modernization and AI adoption. From cloud-native integration platforms and API management solutions to process orchestration and emerging agentic AI capabilities, you will help leading organizations create the connected foundations required to scale innovation and unlock business value.

You will operate as both a trusted advisor and a hands-on sales leader, shaping and closing complex opportunities while collaborating with solution architects, consulting teams, delivery leaders, strategic partners, and industry executives.

In this role, you will:
  • Own a portfolio of strategic accounts and deliver against ambitious annual bookings targets through a combination of new business acquisition and account expansion.
  • Position Cognizant's EIPO capabilities, including integration, API management, iPaaS, event-driven architectures, process orchestration, and agentic AI orchestration, as foundational elements of clients' modernization and AI strategies.
  • Lead complex pursuits from qualification through contract signature, orchestrating cross-functional teams across sales, consulting, architecture, delivery, finance, legal, and pricing functions.
  • Build trusted executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Chief Digital Officers, COOs, enterprise architects, and procurement stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor on transformation initiatives.
  • Structure innovative commercial models including fixed-price, time-and-materials, managed services, outcome-based engagements, and run-and-transform programs.
  • Collaborate with strategic alliance partners such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, IBM, Boomi, Camunda, Pega, Appian, Kong, SnapLogic, Solace, and TIBCO to develop joint go-to-market initiatives and co-sell opportunities.
  • Partner across Cognizant's Industry Business Units, Data & AI, Cloud, Consulting, and Intelligent Operations teams to deliver integrated business transformation solutions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and opportunity governance within CRM systems and deal-review processes.
  • Provide market intelligence, client insights, and competitive intelligence to support portfolio strategy, solution development, and go-to-market planning.
  • Represent Cognizant at executive forums, industry events, customer engagements, and strategic partner activities.
Work model

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring regular attendance at a Cognizant office in London, United Kingdom, combined with travel to client sites across the UK as needed.

The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting and may evolve based on business and client requirements.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Extensive experience within technology services, consulting, or enterprise software sales.
  • Proven success selling or leading the sale of integration, middleware, API management, process automation, orchestration, or related transformation services.
  • Strong track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota and closing complex multi-million-pound consulting, managed services, or transformation opportunities.
  • Experience developing trusted relationships with senior technology and business executives, including C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of modern integration and orchestration technologies, including:
    • Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS)
    • API Management
    • Event-Driven Architecture
    • Microservices
    • Hybrid Integration
    • Cloud-Native Integration
    • Process Orchestration
  • Ability to engage in executive-level business discussions around AI adoption, digital transformation, modernization, and operating-model evolution.

  • Experience collaborating with strategic technology partners in joint sales and go-to-market activities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and lead matrixed teams across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
These will help you stand out
  • Experience working for a global systems integrator, management consultancy, Big Four consulting firm, or enterprise software vendor.
  • Experience selling AI-enabled managed services, platform transformation programs, or run-and-transform engagements.
  • Knowledge of leading integration and orchestration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Camunda, Appian, Pega, TIBCO, Kong, Solace, SnapLogic, or IBM.
  • Strong perspective on agentic AI, enterprise orchestration, governance, and the integration foundations required to scale AI securely.
  • Formal sales methodology certifications or training in MEDDPICC, Challenger, Value Selling, Strategic Selling, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications from major integration, automation, cloud, or process orchestration platform providers.
