Workshop Plant Engineer Job Opportunity

Are you seeking a fresh start and a new challenge as a Workshop Plant Engineer? Enjoy 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, specialist training, and many other employee incentives! This role is Monday to Friday and located near Hitchin.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all construction plant hire equipment to high standards, including diagnosing faults, servicing, and PDIs on site
  • Carrying out breakdown repairs on construction plant machinery
  • Perform routine services on equipment such as diggers, dumpers, Vogel pavers, excavators, paving machines, and Bomag rollers
  • Manage administration tasks and complete all paperwork accurately and on time, including warranty claims
Candidate Profile:

PATH Recruitment is collaborating with a large Civil Engineering company that is expanding. They are looking to hire a Workshop Plant Engineer. Ideal candidates will have experience in roles such as Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Heavy Plant Engineer, or Plant Mechanic. Proven qualifications in Plant Maintenance are required. Experience working on small tools or HGVs is also welcome.
