Job summary

CIA Fire & Security, part of The Ranger Group, is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our Cirencester area team. You will service, maintain and repair a range of Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.

Based in Cirencester, the role offers a competitive £32,000–£38,000 salary, a company vehicle with fuel card, 25 days holiday and ongoing training opportunities within the Ranger Group.

Qualifications

• Previous Fire & Security service experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• FIA training, ECS/CSCS, IPAF or PASMA are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Respond to reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns.
• Complete accurate service reports and compliance documentation.

• Ensure systems remain compliant with relevant standards and regulations.

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our successful team covering Cirencester and the surrounding areas.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected and growing business where you will play a key role in maintaining and servicing a wide range of Fire & Security systems. You will be trusted to deliver exceptional service, build strong customer relationships and represent our business professionally on site.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair Fire Alarm, CCTV, Intruder Alarm and Access Control systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
Complete planned preventative maintenance visits.

Systems Experience

Fire: Advanced, Kentec, Apollo, Hochiki.
Security: Texecom, Paxton, Hanwha, Dahua and similar platforms.

What We Are Looking For

Previous Fire & Security service experience.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
Full UK Driving Licence.
