Derby-based role with a global pump hire company seeking a Service Engineer with diesel engine experience. You will service, maintain and repair diesel engines and pump equipment across construction sites, performing planned and reactive maintenance and diagnosing faults.

You will cover the East Midlands patch, work 8:00AM - 4:30PM, with overtime, training, and progression opportunities to Foreman. A company van, fuel card and bonus are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working on diesel engines (mandatory).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commutable within the East Midlands region.

Are you a Service Engineer with experience working on diesel engines, looking to join a global pump hire company offering specialist training, progression to Foreman and the opportunity to boost your earnings through regular overtime?

This specialist pumping solutions provider supplies high-performance pump hire equipment and engineered fluid handling systems to the construction, mining, utilities and industrial sectors. Supporting critical operations such as dewatering, wastewater management and flood control, the company delivers reliable pumping solutions to contractors, infrastructure providers and environmental operators across the UK.

In this role, you will service, maintain and repair diesel engines and associated pumping equipment used across construction, utilities and industrial sites. You'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose mechanical faults and ensure equipment remains operational. Covering the East Midlands patch, you'll work standard hours of 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

This role would suit a Service Engineer with diesel engine experience looking to develop their skills on specialist equipment while benefiting from overtime, training and long-term progression.
