Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a Leicester-based client find a Service Engineer (Compressors / Local Patch) to service, install and maintain industrial air compressors and generators. The role covers a 75-mile radius around Leicester with a provided van, vehicle, laptop, phone, healthcare and 25 days holiday. Salary £40,000–£45,000 with bonus OTE £49,000.

Monday–Friday, 40 hours, field-based with training and progression opportunities. Reference Number: BBBH26132.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer with compressor experience; training on specialist equipment.
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to sites from Derby, up to Leeds and down to Birmingham.
• Performing servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators.
• Full training provided on oxygen and nitrogen generators.
• Covering a local patch within a 2/3 hour radius of your home, home almost every night.
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, some flexibility needed.

Are you an Engineer with any experience working on air compressors, looking for a field-based role covering a local patch with door to door pay, in a provided van in a long-term and stable role?

Covering a 75-mile radius around Leicester, you will be servicing, installing and maintaining a range of industrial air compressors and generators, with plenty of training given.

Founded over 15 years ago, this company are experienced unprecedented growth and are looking to bolster the team for the long term, doubling their turnover last year. They work within most industries including manufacturing, laboratories, MoD, and oil & gas.

This role would suit a Service or Maintenance Engineer with compressor experience looking for a career in a company who will invest in them, with further training on specialist equipment.

The Role:
