Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a Service Engineer to support customers across the Midlands and South West, covering Birmingham to Bristol. This field-based role suits mechanically or electrically qualified engineers with maintenance, fault finding, installation and servicing experience of industrial equipment in water environments.

You will carry out planned maintenance and servicing of water treatment equipment, diagnose faults, install and commission new equipment, and provide excellent

• Level 3 qualification or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance, servicing, fault finding or field service engineering.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Water treatment experience advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned maintenance and servicing of water treatment and purification equipment.
• Diagnosing faults, undertaking repairs and replacing components as required.
• Installing, commissioning, calibrating and testing new equipment.
• Providing technical support to customers while ensuring high standards of safety and service delivery.
