Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Service Engineer (Medical Equipment) to service equipment across Swindon and the M4 corridor. The role offers door-to-door pay, overtime, a company van, and comprehensive training.

You will be based from home and travel to customer sites, carrying out installations, preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, faults finding, and routine servicing. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Service Engineer (Medical Equipment)

£43,000 - £48,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + Company Van + Tools + Training

Swindon, M4 Corridor

Are you a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar with experience installing, maintaining, or repairing equipment, looking to join an established company offering excellent training, door-to-door pay, overtime, a company van, and tools?

On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist business providing equipment and technical support into cleanroom, controlled environment, and specialist facility settings. You will receive structured training, including around 3 months on‑site training followed by 3 months field‑based learning while buddied up with an experienced engineer. You will be supported in developing your technical skills while working on specialist equipment across customer sites.

In this varied role, you will be based from home and travel to customer sites across Swindon and the M4 corridor, carrying out installations, planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault finding, and general service work. You will work safely on customer sites, use specialist tools, and ensure equipment is operating efficiently, with clean room experience being advantageous.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer with a practical background who is looking for a role with structured training, door-to-door pay, enhanced overtime, a company van, and long‑term development.

The Role:

• Installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing specialist equipment


• Field‑based across Swindon and the M4 corridor, with door‑to‑door pay

The Person:

• Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar


• Ideally clean room experience


• Experience with installation, maintenance, breakdowns, or service work


• Full UK Driving Licence and happy covering M4 corridor
