Our clients are actively seeking a Service Engineer to join their growing team. We are looking for someone based around Havant, Waterlooville, Portsmouth, or surrounding areas, who is willing to travel and work a mixture of days and nights.

The Service Engineer will attend customer sites throughout the UK and perform tasks such as Planned Preventative Maintenance, Emergency callouts, Upgrades/repairs, Installation, and Commissioning works.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine/planned scheduled maintenance work
• Responding to breakdowns and equipment faults
• Diagnosing breakdown problems and carrying out first-time fixes
• Fitting new parts and ensuring equipment is working correctly before signing off
• Liaising with client departments, customers, and other engineering and production colleagues
• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
• Controlling van stock
• Responding to customer inquiries professionally
• Representing the company as an ambassador at all times
• Providing accurate information on activities undertaken

Required Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical skills
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Previous service experience is preferred
• Willingness to travel across the UK
• Valid Driving Licence

The basic salary ranges from £26,000 to £26,500, with extra pay for night work and overtime. Training on the product will be provided, offering opportunities for development and progression within the company.
