SOCOTEC Building Control Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer – Water Consultancy & Equipment. You will be responsible for servicing water treatment equipment and conducting fault-finding, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Service Engineer – Water Consultancy & Equipment

Primary responsibilities include:

• Carry out service of water treatment equipment such as softeners, reverse osmosis units, ozone units, side stream filtration units, UV units, and dosing units, including occasional water analysis, sampling, and legionella screening.
• Conduct fault-finding and complete remedial works on water treatment equipment.
• Prepare detailed service and water treatment reports, highlighting any problems or follow-ups required.
• Ensure service visits are completed within allocated time.
• Present yourself professionally to clients at all times.
• Work within current Health & Safety legislation.
• Replace consumable spares as per site maintenance schedules.
• Travel to sites and handle possible nights and weekend work.

Qualifications
