Salary: up to £45000 per annum plus company vehicle and Veolia benefits
Hours: 43 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with participation in a rostered out-of-hours and emergency call-out arrangement
Location: Mobile across London (mainly South London)

What you’ll be doing:
- Act as Technical Support for ECI reactive/maintenance issues.
- Support technical ECI due diligence, feasibility studies and options assessments as part of a team contributing to the development of new technologies.
- Draft new technology supporting documentation and specifications.
- Monitor KPI progress with complete versus incomplete tickets.
- Escalate high‑risk issues if not addressed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the PPM schedule is uploaded and reviewed promptly.
- Be responsible for weekly reporting on completed versus outstanding ECI work.
- Maintain and provide continuous improvement activities to the ECI FSM platform.
- Provide technical support and fault‑finding for Network and PLC Systems within Plant and Operations.
- Perform Software Management System maintenance.
- Support Site Operations SCADA Systems.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Robotics Engineering, or a similar discipline; HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proficiency with industrial control systems including Allen Bradley, Siemens Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or equivalent platforms.
- Creative, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to conduct technical optioneering and quickly identify technological solutions for operational challenges.
- Strong competency with Microsoft/Google spreadsheets, documents, Gantt charts, and presentation software for project management and communication.
- Excellent negotiating, networking, and influencing abilities; capable of communicating complex academic and innovative ideas in practical industrial contexts to support teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement solutions that enhance existing industrial contracts, increase operational efficiency, and improve performance through analytical thinking and strategic questioning.
