Overview

Service Engineer £35,000 - £41,600 per annum
Full Time, Permanent
Monday - Friday

Our client is currently looking for Service Engineers / Technicians to service and repair Turf, Ground-care and Agricultural Machinery.

If you have experience in the diagnostics and repairs of plant, truck, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks or ground-care machinery, then they want to hear from you!

Our client's workshop is based in Binfield, and they provide services across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and surrounding areas. You will mostly work within golf courses, schools and the local councils helping to repair a variety of vehicles and ground-care machinery.

You will be working on a wide variety of the machinery and equipment that they supply including golf and sports turf machinery, commercial mowers, utility vehicles, compact tractors, chippers and domestic mowing machinery.

They will provide a vehicle, mobile phone and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair turf, ground-care and agricultural machinery.
• Diagnose and repair plant, trucks, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks or ground-care machinery (experience preferred).
• Work across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and surrounding areas; primarily on golf courses, schools and local councils.
• Maintain and repair a variety of machinery including golf and sports turf machinery, commercial mowers, utility vehicles, compact tractors, chippers and domestic mowing machinery.
• Use provided company vehicle and mobile phone; participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with plant, trucks, motorcycles, farm machinery, forklift trucks or ground-care machinery is preferred.
• Ability to undertake maintenance and repairs using special tools and equipment following approved technical procedures.
• Experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work as a team or individually.
• Self-motivated, good communication skills and a willingness to take on new challenges.
