Chasing the Stigma is a national mental health charity on a mission to normalise and humanise conversations about mental health, whilst ensuring that everyone in the UK can access clear pathways to support, whenever and wherever they need it. We strive to achieve this through the provision of pioneering training services, awareness-raising campaigns and lobbying activities, whilst also operating the UK’s largest and most comprehensive directory of community mental health services, the Hub of Hope.
Our Hub of Hope platform brings together thousands of local, national, peer, community, charity, private and NHS mental health support services all in one place making it as easy as possible for people to find and access timely support during any stage of their mental health journey.
Free to use via a dedicated website, as well as a mobile app, the Hub of Hope is the UK’s most comprehensive mental health support database of its kind, and since its launch in July 2017, it has over 14,400 services listed and has signposted more than 700,000 users to life-changing and life-saving support.
Location:We’ve got a lovely office just a ten-minute walk from Crosby Beach, Liverpool, and would obviously love to see you there as much as possible, however, we’re also flexible in accommodating different working preferences and personal circumstances where it will enable you to deliver the greatest impact in your work.

The Service Development Officer role at Chasing the Stigma lies within the Service Development team managed by the Service Development Manager. Consisting of talented and motivated individuals, this team forms a part of a bigger Digital Development and Insights department that is responsible for the growth and development of the Hub of Hope platform and its service offering.
In your day-to-day, you will perform data administration tasks such as maintaining and updating our database, reviewing existing services to ensure that the system information is accurate and up-to-date, as well as researching, contacting and adding new services to support the growth of our database.
