Information Technology Recruitment Consultant

Location: London (Hybrid)

Duration: 6–12 months

Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required

We’re working with a leading digital consultancy that partners with high-profile public sector organisations to deliver user-centred services that make a real impact. As they scale up their work with the Home Office, they’re seeking an experienced Service Designer / User Researcher to join the team.

The Role:

You’ll be embedded in a multidisciplinary agile team to help shape the end-to-end service experience. You’ll be responsible for designing and improving public-facing and internal services that are accessible, scalable, and grounded in real user needs.

What You'll Do:

• Plan and conduct user research (discovery, usability testing, behavioural insight)
• Create service blueprints, journey maps, and ecosystem diagrams
• Facilitate workshops and co-design sessions with stakeholders and users
• Work closely with delivery managers, content designers, and developers in agile sprints
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design throughout the lifecycle

What We're Looking For:

• Strong background in service design and user research within the public sector
• Ability to lead discovery and alpha phases, as well as support into beta
• Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and fast-paced agile environments
• Confident facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions
• Proficient with tools like Miro, Figma, Dovetail, Lookback, Jira and Confluence
• Active SC Clearance is essential (due to the nature of the work)
