Role Overview

The Service Design and Transition Manager is responsible for designing and transitioning new or changed managed services within the CX and Managed Service framework, managing all aspects of service design and facilitating implementation within Customer Operations and for clients.

Role Mission

Objectives and Key Results

This role is critical for growing our Managed Services Portfolio by designing, delivering, and transitioning scalable technology services. The role ensures services and operational architecture meet contractual requirements and are transitioned effectively into operational support.

Key Deliverables

Translate high-level requirements with practice leads, adhere to transition frameworks, align customer-facing processes, and deliver end-to-end design and transition outputs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage service design and transition activities for technology products, vendor onboarding, and customer transitions per the CX & Managed Service framework.
  • Engage early with sales pipelines to incorporate service design considerations.
  • Lead workshops for propositions, impact assessments, RAID management, Early Life Support, lessons learned, and continual improvements across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Solution Architecture to include managed services in Statements of Work and cost models.
  • Document workshop outputs and manage service rehearsals with stakeholders.
  • Develop and review Service Design Packs and documentation.
  • Maintain documentation standards and workload trackers for stakeholder access.
  • Participate in the Managed Service Operations Delivery board for approvals and risk management.
  • Ensure services are manageable and supportable according to documented models.
