Job summary

Johnsons Workwear is seeking a Service Delivery Driver to efficiently deliver and collect company stock between customer sites and the plant, ensuring compliance with transport legislation and high standards of customer service.

You will manage daily routes, complete documentation, load/unload vehicles, and maintain stock levels while building strong relationships with customers and supporting the Transport Manager as needed. CPC and 7.5t licence are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CPC certificate is required.
• 7.5 tonne licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles and placing stock into designated areas at customer sites
• Ensuring vehicles are stocked with sufficient sundry items, such as repair labels and bags
• Collecting and delivering items in line with route documentation, including loading and emptying on-premises lockers and exchanging dust control mats
• Accurately completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation
• Building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers and acting as a key liaison between customers and the business
• Supporting the Transport Manager by covering routes for absent drivers when required
• Undertaking ad-hoc duties to support the wider transport and service delivery team

Please note - this role requires any applicant to hold a valid CPC and 7.5ton Licence.

The role
