Job summary

LiveWest is seeking a Service Charge Officer to ensure accurate service charge budgets and accounts within legal timeframes. You will set up new schemes, handle customer queries, and provide guidance on service charges across the business.

The role offers hybrid working, 37 hours per week, and a focus on regulatory compliance and customer service. Experience in housing service charges is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in service charges in a housing environment.
• Ability to manage budgets and accounts.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of social housing policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set and account for service charges for new and existing properties.
• Follow consultation procedures to recover income from charges.
• Provide technical and legal support on service charges to the business.
• Attend annual residents service charge meetings on request.
