Job summary

Dexters is seeking a capable property accounts professional to manage a full portfolio of central London clients. The role requires detailed knowledge of service charge accounting and the associated legislation, with initiative and strong organisational skills to support growth.

You will issue service charge and ground rent demands, manage arrears, prepare annual budgets, and liaise with high net worth leaseholders. A pro-active, accurate approach and excellent communication are essential.

• Collection and monitoring of management and administration fees.
• Support the Central London team of Block managers.

Job description

A unique position to manage a full portfolio of clients in Central London and a well-established, asset rich client. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of service charge accounting and the associated legislation; with a proven ability to work on their own initiative, excellent organisational skills and a pro-active approach to their daily tasks and be expected to develop the role as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Issuing of demands for service charges and ground rents
• Managing one key client and the associated portfolio of high net worth leaseholders
• Entering and maintaining annual budgets for service charges
• Chasing arrears and progressing legal action against defaulters
• Dealing with legacy issues and disputes
• Bank reconciliation

• Supporting the Central London team of Block managers
