Job summary

Auto Windscreens is a leading UK automotive glazing specialist renowned for innovation and industry leadership. We are recruiting a Service Centre Supervisor based in Chester to maintain KPIs and uphold high service standards while supporting the team and customers.

You will assist with stock management, coordinate with technicians and managers, and ensure health and safety procedures are followed, including waste disposal tasks and ad-hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating a busy Service Centre or workshop environment.
• Ability to maintain KPIs and service standards.
• Stock management and waste/collection processes experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain KPIs and Service Centre targets.
• Keep standards of the Service Centre.
• Support colleagues and customers both internally and externally.
• Assist Service Centre Manager with stock management & controls.
• Liaise with Technicians, Service Centre Manager and Area Manager.
• Ensure H&S standards and processes are followed.
• Arrange regular collection of glass and chemical waste.
• Cover the Service Centre during absences/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining your current KPIs and targets as a Technician
• Maintaining standards of the Service Centre
• Provide help and support to all colleagues and customers both internally and externally.
• Supporting the Service Centre Manager with the effective control of stock management within the Service Centre.
• Managing the Service Centre during any period of absence and annual leave of the Service Centre Manager
• Provide operational information and feedback to relevant management teams.
• Liaise closely through clear and timely communication with Technicians, Service Centre Manager and Area Manager.
• Supporting the Service Centre Manager to ensure all H&S standards and processes are maintained within the Service Centre.
• Controlling and replenishing the consumable stocks for the Service Centre.
• Arranging the regular collection of the glass waste and chemical waste.
• Any other ad-hoc duties requested or advised by the Service Centre Manager or Area Manager.
