Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Service Assistant in the Facilities Department at Bassetlaw Hospital. The role involves cleaning to high standards and handling items in a physically demanding position, with shifts across early hours.

Job description

This Service Assistant post sits in the Facilities Department at Bassetlaw Hospital, run by Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The core work is hospital cleaning, held to a high standard of cleanliness, with a physically demanding element involving carrying, lifting and moving items. Three part-time posts are available, at 25 or 27.5 hours a week spread over five days of seven between 06.00 and 22.00, with bank holiday enhancements. Full training is given, so prior experience is welcome but not required.
