Job Description:

Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a reputable engineering business seeking a Service and Calibration Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth at their Petersfield location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work within the service and calibration team, repairing and calibrating AC and DC Power Sources and Loads, Battery Test Equipment, and related equipment.
• Assist in maintaining UKAS accreditation by developing calibration procedures for new equipment and expanding accreditation scope.
• Repair electronic power equipment to component level.
• Calibrate electronic power equipment.
• Support administrative tasks within the service and calibration department.
• Visit customers to perform calibrations, approximately 1-2 weeks per month.
• Assist customers with technical issues.

Skills and Qualifications:

• HND or higher in Electronics.
• Minimum of 2 years in a Power Electronics service role, with fault finding to component level.
• Experience with ISO17025 calibration is ideal but not essential; experience setting units to manufacturer specifications is required.

Additional Details:

Location: Petersfield, near Portsmouth

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE

Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 2pm on Friday
