Job summary

Vertu SEAT Darlington is seeking a Service Advisor to join our established dealership. The role focuses on building warm, trusted relationships and acting as the liaison between customers and the workshop to ensure outstanding service satisfaction.

You will set expectations, stay in touch throughout service or repair, and look for opportunities to upsell products while ensuring customers are happy with the work carried out.

Qualifications

• Must have previous customer facing service experience.
• Customer focus, relationship maintenance and strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting targets and deadlines.

We are offering a £32,000 basic salary plus company benefits.

The Service Advisor role is one of the most exciting and important roles in our dealership. Like us, you know that customer service isn’t just about providing a service – it's about building warm, trusted relationships. The role holder acts as the relationship manager between the customer and the workshop, ensuring our customer satisfaction levels are outstanding.

You will be responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle, up selling additional products and follow-up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the work carried out.

For this role, we are looking for you to have a previous customer facing service experience; this is essential for you to be considered. Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance, as is the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines.

Previous experience within the role would be beneficial but is not essential.
