Job summary

Citygate Automotive Limited is seeking a Service Advisor to act as the communication hub between our technicians and customers. You will not need automotive experience, but you should bring a passion for excellent customer service and a proactive, flexible approach to each day.

You will book servicing appointments, advise on repairs, keep customers updated, and handle invoicing while coordinating follow-up visits. A strong customer-focus and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and book customers' vehicle servicing appointments via telephone and email.
• Provide best advice on reported repairs or additional service and be the point of contact during the vehicle's time in the workshop.
• Provide updates and consultatively advise on repair work being carried out or needed.
• Create customer invoices and explain the work carried out; proactively reschedule future maintenance appointments.

Role overview

As a Service Advisor you will play a vital role within the retailer as being the point of communication between the Technicians and our customers. To be successful within this role, we do not require previous Automotive experience just a passion for providing great customer service, an ability to work in a proactive manner and a desire for no two working days to ever be the same!

Key responsibilities

As a Service Advisor your key responsibilities will be:

• Arranging and booking your customers vehicle servicing appointments via telephone and email.


• Provide best advice on any report repairs or additional service required, be able to sell with belief and become their point of contact for the duration of their vehicle being within our Workshop.


• Be able to provide updates and consultatively advise on repair work being or needing to be carried out.


• Create customer invoices and run through the work that has been carried out on their vehicle. Proactively reschedule appointments for the customer for any future vehicle maintenance or servicing.
