Job summary

Vertu Vauxhall Carlisle is seeking a Service Advisor to join our well‑established dealership. You will be the link between customers and the workshop, ensuring warm, trusted relationships and outstanding service throughout the service or repair process.

We offer up to £35,000 basic salary (depending on experience) with no weekend work and a strong benefits package. The role focuses on setting customer expectations, upselling services, and following up to ensure customers are fully satisfied.

• Previous customer-facing service experience is essential.
• Customer focus and strong communication skills are important.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting targets and deadlines.

We are offering up to £35,000 basic salary (depending on experience) plus excellent company benefits.

There is no weekend working for this position, every weekend is your own!

The Service Advisor role is one of the most exciting and important roles in our dealership. Like us, you know that customer service isn't just about providing a service - its about building warm, trusted relationships. The role holder acts as the relationship manager between the customer and the workshop, ensuring our customer satisfaction levels are outstanding.

You will be responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle, up selling additional products and follow-up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the work carried out.

For this role, we are looking for you to have a previous customer facing service experience; this is essential for you to be considered. Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines.

Previous experience within the role would be beneficial but is not essential. If you have strong Customer Service experience then we would love to hear from you.
