We have an exciting opportunity to join our front of house team as Waiting Staff at Gordon’s Tearoom, located in the heart of Braemar. Gordon’s Tearoom is one of the oldest establishments in the village, serving delicious home-cooked meals, snacks, teas, and coffees. The Tearoom is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm, allowing for fixed days off and guaranteed shifts.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a similar level of experience, a passion for excellent service, and a desire to develop your skills.

As a F&B Host, you will be responsible for:

• Hosting guests and making menu recommendations.
• Smooth and efficient running of service.
• Ensuring the restaurant is clean and presentable.
• Taking orders and delivering exceptional service.
• Completing tasks including set-up, cleaning, and cashing up as per operational procedures.

You’ll be surrounded by a team with creative flair and a passion for fresh food and brilliant service, with a desire to learn and grow. All striving to go beyond for guests, our team, and the community.

Our successful F&B Host will have:

• Proven experience within a similar hospitality environment is an advantage.
• The enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Initiative, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.
• An understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH.
• A willingness to work to the high standards demanded by a luxury establishment.
