TSR Legal has recently been instructed to assist an established national legal practice as they look to strengthen their Serious Injury team with the appointment of an additional Solicitor with at least two years’ post-qualification experience based in Cardiff.
Our client has developed a strong reputation within complex injury work and acts on behalf of clients affected by serious and life-changing injuries. The department offers lawyers the opportunity to become involved in substantial and technically challenging cases whilst working alongside experienced specialists.
Due to continued demand within the team, the firm is now looking to recruit a Serious Injury Solicitor who can assist with the progression of complex and higher-value claims. As part of the department, you will work on cases involving significant and potentially life-changing injuries, including brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations, multiple orthopaedic injuries and other complex claims.
You will have involvement throughout the lifecycle of claims, including liability investigations, medical evidence, rehabilitation, quantum, witness evidence, expert instructions, negotiations and litigation. Depending upon experience, you will manage your own caseload alongside assisting senior members of the team on particularly complex and high-value matters.
The role requires strong technical ability together with excellent client-care skills. You will be dealing directly with individuals and their families following significant injuries and will need to combine a commercial and analytical approach to litigation with a genuinely supportive approach to clients.
This represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious injury lawyer looking to develop within more complex work and establish a long-term career within Serious Injury litigation.
