Job summary

Anakin Seal Legal Recruitment is assisting a leading UK law firm in Manchester to recruit a serious injury solicitor for a busy practice. You will work on high-value Employer's Liability, Public Liability and PI claims, supported by a Partner and team; interview witnesses, draft pleadings, review medical and quantum evidence, and manage complex cases in a hybrid role with one office day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience managing personal injury litigation through stages of the claims process.
• Strong knowledge of liability and quantum issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-value personal injury claims from start to resolution.

Role Overview

Our client is a leading UK law firm is seeking a serious injury lawyer to join its highly regarded practice based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor, CILEX professional or experienced litigation fee earner to work on some of the most significant personal injury claims in the market.

The successful candidate will support an experienced Partner and wider team on a varied caseload of high-value Employer's Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims. The work includes catastrophic injury matters and complex litigation with claim values ranging from six figures through to multi-million-pound disputes.

This role offers exceptional exposure to technically challenging work and the opportunity to develop expertise within a nationally recognised team.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

Applications are welcomed from solicitors, legal executives and experienced personal injury litigators with strong experience handling claimant or defendant personal injury matters.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience managing personal injury litigation matters through various stages of the claims process
• Strong knowledge of liability and quantum issues
• Excellent analytical and investigative skills
• Experience reviewing medical, liability and quantum evidence
• The ability to interview witnesses and prepare witness statements
• Strong drafting skills, including pleadings and court applications
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively

Previous experience dealing with complex or high-value injury claims would be advantageous but is not essential.
