Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Act as Officer in the Case (OIC) for serious investigations.
• Attend collision scenes to provide investigative support when required.
• Progress lines of enquiry under direction of lead investigator or SIO.
• Maintain accurate, auditable records of actions.
• Engage with victims and bereaved families where FLO is not deployed.
• Interview witnesses and suspects and manage disclosure.
• Attend forensic post-mortems and brief forensic pathologists.
• Liaise with multiple departments and external bodies.
• Prepare case files and evidential summaries for CPS submission.
• Attend court and give professional evidence as required.
