We are an online marketplace connecting homeowners with tradespeople for home improvement jobs. Our team of 520 professionals is based in Germany (Berlin), the Netherlands (Amsterdam), the UK (London), France (Aix-en-Provence), and Canada (Toronto). Our mission is to build a reliable, fair marketplace where tradespeople find quality work and homeowners hire quality tradespeople.

We are seeking an SEO Specialist (French) to help grow our presence and optimize our content and strategy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-oriented, and hands-on, working within a team of 6 SEO Specialists under the SEO Manager.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Collaborate with other SEO Specialists across markets to improve organic performance.
2. Identify SEO opportunities and shortcomings through data analysis and translate insights into strategies.
3. Monitor SEO performance and business metrics, analyzing fluctuations.
4. Coordinate with Product teams to ensure proper implementation aligning with SEO goals.
5. Manage external content partners: briefings, coordination, and review of published content.
6. Edit and publish editorial content, maintaining quality, brand consistency, and SEO value.
7. Conduct ongoing technical audits to optimize our platform.
8. Research and analyze competitor strategies to inform initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Native French speaker with full professional proficiency in English.
• Minimum 2 years of in-house SEO experience.
• Proven track record of deploying data-driven SEO strategies that improve organic search performance.
• Experience developing partner relationships.
• Familiarity with AI/ChatGPT tools for content creation and SEO integration.
• Strong data-driven approach based on existing or proven data.
• In-depth experience with analytics tools (e.g., SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Majestic, Google Search Console, Looker Studio).
• Up-to-date with latest SEO trends and best practices.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to resolve SEO and user experience challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, collaborative, proactive, and innovative mindset.
