SEO Specialist and Data Analyst

Salary: £33,000 per annum

Location: Bristol / Hybrid

Contract: Full time, Permanent

At The Content Emporium, we offer high-level plug-in content marketing support to major brands across the UK, covering strategy, design, CRM, photography, motion graphics, social media, and content creation. Our team of 50 creative experts partners with clients including FTSE 100 companies and leading UK shopping centres. SEO, analytics, and insights are vital to our success.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a SEO Specialist and Data Analyst to join our agency. Reporting to the Client Success Director, this role supports client website performance through effective SEO strategies and data insights.

You will handle on-page SEO, light technical SEO, and GA4 analytics reporting, helping track and interpret data to measure content and marketing success. An interest in emerging SEO trends like AI-driven search and social search (TikTok SEO, Instagram discoverability) is advantageous.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about combining technical skills, data analysis, and content strategy to achieve measurable results.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform on-page SEO audits and optimise content.
  • Implement light technical SEO tasks: metadata, internal linking, site health monitoring.
  • Collaborate with editorial, design, and client teams to embed SEO best practices.
  • Stay updated on search evolution, including AI-driven changes and social search platforms.
GA4 Analytics and Reporting
  • Manage client GA4 accounts, setting up tracking, goals, and events.
  • Create and deliver analytics reports highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Monitor website and content performance, identify trends.
  • Present data clearly to clients, linking results to business goals.
  • Work with editorial, design, CRM, and social teams to integrate SEO strategies.
  • Train team members on SEO principles and best practices.
  • Contribute to multi-channel campaign planning, ensuring SEO and analytics are integrated.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct website health checks and SEO audits, resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop templates, guidelines, and checklists for SEO quality.
  • Monitor reporting workflows, suggest improvements.
  • Stay ahead of trends in SEO, AI, and social search to innovate for clients.
Client Delivery and Success
  • Support the Client Success Director in delivering excellent SEO and analytics service.
  • Participate in client reviews and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities where SEO, data, and analytics add value.
  • Maintain a proactive, problem-solving approach with clients.
ABOUT YOU

We seek someone passionate about SEO, content performance, and data storytelling. You should be detail-oriented, technically skilled, commercially aware, and confident in presenting recommendations to improve results.

Ideally, you will have:

  • 2+ years experience in SEO and/or analytics roles.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO and basic technical SEO.
  • Proficiency in GA4 and Google Search Console.
  • Ability to craft clear, compelling data reports.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with Looker Studio is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of AI and social search impacts on SEO is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog is desirable.
