TK WebHosts is hiring an SEO specialist to run ongoing search work for client websites and the company’s own sites: keyword research, on-page optimization, technical fixes and monthly performance reviews, with clear reports that say what changed and what to do next.
Minimum qualifications
- Proven experience improving search performance on real websites you can name.
- Working knowledge of Google Search Console, analytics and at least one SEO suite.
- A clear grasp of technical SEO, including crawling, indexing and structured data.
- The ability to explain why a page is indexed but not ranking, and what you would check first.
- Excellent written English for content briefs and reports.
Responsibilities
- Research keywords and map them to the pages that should rank for them.
- Optimize titles, headings, meta descriptions, content and internal links.
- Find and fix technical SEO issues: indexing, canonicals, redirects, structured data and page speed.
- Use Google Search Console and analytics to find what to improve next.
- Prepare monthly reports with clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Work with the website designer when a fix needs a build change.
You are not expected to design websites or run paid ads. Build work has its own role.
How the role works
- Fully remote. There is no office to attend and no relocation.
- A full-time role, working agreed weekday hours.
- Two short team calls each weekday, at 09:00 and 15:30 UK time. Attending them is part of the role.
- A stable internet connection and a quiet place to work during agreed hours.
What TK WebHosts offers
- Direct mentorship and regular feedback from senior leadership.
- Internal training, documentation and process playbooks from the first day.
- Training on the automation and AI-assisted workflows already in place. No prior experience with them is needed.
- Reimbursement for essential business tools and software.
- Room to take on more responsibility and ownership as you prove yourself.
Hiring process
- Structured interview: A 30-minute video call. The same questions go to every candidate, scored on the answers and on work you can show.
- Practical stage: A role-specific task or role-play, plus a check that your connection and workstation hold up on a live call.
- Offer and review: A written offer, then a documented review at 30, 60 and 90 days.
