Job Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced SEO Strategist to join our dynamic SEO content agency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices and the ability to implement effective strategies to improve our online visibility, drive organic traffic, and increase conversions. The SEO Strategist will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the SEO strategy for our clients and our website.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. SEO Content Calendar Management
  2. Conduct regular keyword research to identify traffic and revenue growth opportunities.
  3. Assign various topics to target based on key metrics.
  4. SEO Website Content Auditing:
    1. Conduct comprehensive audits of website content to ensure alignment with SEO best practices.
    2. Identify pages and queries to quickly rank higher through content updates, rewriting, and internal linking.
    3. Ensure all content is optimized for target keywords and user intent.
  5. SEO Competitor Analysis:
    1. Analyze the competitors’ SEO strategy, including their subfolders, the pages they create, and the topics they tackle.
    2. Set a standard based on competitor content around word count, content quality, and backlinks.
    3. Derive recommendations from the strategies of various competitor websites.
  6. Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that engages and converts.
  7. Analyze content performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  8. Create and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals.
  9. Develop link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and search engine rankings.
  10. On-Page and Off-Page Optimization:
    1. Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and images for search engines.
    2. Ensure website architecture is optimized for crawling and indexing by search engines.
    3. Manage and improve on-page SEO, including site structure, internal linking, and HTML tags.
  11. Stay Current with SEO Trends:
    1. Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
    2. Implement new strategies and tactics as the SEO landscape evolves.
  12. Good to know:
    1. Perform regular technical audits of the website to ensure SEO best practices are being followed.
    2. Address and resolve technical issues that may impact search engine rankings.
    3. Monitor and improve page load speeds, mobile-friendliness, and overall user experience.
  13. Analytics and Reporting:
    1. Use SEO tools and analytics platforms to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
    2. Track and report on key SEO metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
    3. Provide regular updates and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  1. 3+ years of proven experience as an SEO Strategist or similar role.
  2. In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  3. Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  4. Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
  2. Knowledge of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and how it integrates with SEO.
  3. Familiarity with social media platforms and their impact on SEO.
  4. Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant qualifications.
