About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced SEO Lead to join our expanding team. You will take ownership of strategic direction across a portfolio of clients, combining technical SEO expertise with a consultative, relationship-focused approach to client management. You should be confident leading discussions with stakeholders, presenting insights and recommendations, and driving long-term organic growth.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to mentor a small team, shape client strategies, and make a significant impact on performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Leadership: Serve as the primary contact for key SEO accounts, fostering trusted relationships and translating complex SEO concepts into clear business value.
  • Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and own tailored SEO strategies for a mix of B2B and B2C clients, aligned with their goals.
  • Technical SEO: Lead audits, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical recommendations related to crawling, indexation, site speed, and structure.
  • Team Management: Manage two SEO Specialists, providing mentorship, performance support, and development opportunities.
  • Reporting & Insights: Oversee monthly reporting and performance reviews, using data to generate actionable insights and inform strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with content, PR, and development teams (both internal and client-side) to deliver integrated strategies and project execution.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to evolving internal processes, documentation, and ways of working to enhance efficiency and standards within the SEO team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency or client-facing environment.
  • Strong technical SEO background—able to lead audits, troubleshoot issues, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Experience leading strategy and managing performance across multiple accounts.
  • Experience mentoring or line managing others, with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency with tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and Data Studio/Looker.
