ThePlaceToBe, a Leeds-based digital agency, is looking for an SEO/GEO Strategy Manager to join a busy strategy team. You will own end-to-end SEO and GEO strategies for key accounts and collaborate closely with Tech SEO, Content SEO, and Paid Media teams.

You’ll liaise with clients, analyze sites and data, identify issues, and propose growth opportunities in SEO and AI. The role requires commuting to Leeds three days a week and mentoring junior members as you lead reporting and strategic updates.

Formación

• Experience in an SEO-focused role with strong strategy knowledge.
• Understanding GEO and AI pathways in search marketing.
• Knowledge of technical SEO audits and migrations.
• Ability to manage accounts and client relationships.
• Agency experience preferred but not required.

About the role

As a SEO / GEO Strategy Manager, you’ll join a busy and vibrant strategy team

What you’ll be doing day to day

• Manage end to end SEO and GEO Strategy for a handful of the agencies key accounts
• Collaborate closely with Tech SEO, Content SEO, Paid Media teams to ensure strategy is aligned
• Liaise closely with client and update on campaign performance
• Analyse websites and data sources to identify site issues
• Supply ideas around growth areas of SEO and AI
• Manage junior or executive members of the team and delegate workload
• Lead on reporting and insights for your clients – ensuring there are regular updates both in terms of performance impact and progress against the strategic roadmap

About you

To be considered for this SEO/GEO Strategy Manager role you must have a passion for all things organic search

What we’re looking for

• Experience working within an SEO focused role with a great understanding of SEO Strategy
• Knowledge of GEO and AI pathways in search marketing
• An understanding of technical SEO elements (audits, migrations etc) and SEO Content
• Passion for the latest technology and be extremely innovative with processes
• Experience within account and client management
• Ideally agency experience although not essential
• You must be able to commute to Leeds, 3 days a week
