Visualsoft is seeking an SEO Executive to support Senior Account Directors by turning briefs into actionable SEO and PR tasks. You will work across SEO strategy, audits, keyword research, on-site implementation, and Digital PR outreach, with growth opportunities into an Account Director role.
You will train across Strategy, Content, Tech and PR pillars, gaining holistic SEO knowledge and client-facing progression while delivering high-quality, data-driven results.
As an SEO Executive, you are the delivery role of your POD. Your role is to support the Senior Account Directors and Account Directors by executing the technical, strategic, and PR tasks required to drive client performance. You are an executor, someone who takes a brief from a strategist and turns it into action. You will work across two key disciplines: SEO Strategy (audits, research, and on-site implementation) and Digital PR (media list building, outreach, and coverage tracking). The role may also include elements of Content and Tech but as those disciplines have dedicated functions it will be minimal, enough to grow your knowledge and expose you but not a core part of the role. While this is a non-client facing role focused on execution, it is designed as a clear pathway for career progression. We will provide full training to give you a holistic understanding ofthe wider SEO mix. Our ambition is for you to grow into an Account Director role where youwill eventually manage your own portfolio and lead client strategy.
Conduct detailed technical audits, content audits, backlink profiles and other audits as briefed by the Account Directors. You will compile the raw data and initial findings for the AD to use.
Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor gap analysis to identify new opportunities for our clients.
Take ownership of on-site changes. This includes uploading content to client CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Shopify, Magento), optimising meta data, fixing broken links, and implementing internal linking strategies.
Conduct meaningful checks on all deliverables to ensure they meet the agency's high standards before they are passed to the Account Director.
Execute PR campaigns by conducting outreach to journalists, bloggers, and editors. You will be the person sending the emails and pitching the stories.
Build and maintain targeted media lists using our PR database tools. Monitor proactive opportunities (e.g. #journorequest) and flag relevant queries to the POD.
Support the creation of press releases and campaign assets, ensuring they are formaed correctly and ready for distribution.
Monitor and record all secured coverage, ensuring that links are live and metrics are accurately reported in our system.
Compile data reports for the POD. You will pull data from GA4, Search Console, and rank tracking tools to provide the Account Directors with the stats they need for client meetings or strategic planning.
Respond to quick-turnaround data requests from the POD to support strategy pivots or answer specific client queries.
Actively participate in training sessions across all pillars (Strategy, Content, Tech, and PR). We want you to understand how the entire SEO machine works, not just your specific tasks.
Work with your Line Manager to build a Personal Development Plan (PDP) focused on the soft skills and strategic thinking required to become an Account Director.
