McCormick & Company, Incorporated invites a Sensory Scientist to support planning, execution and interpretation of sensory tests in a collaborative UK team. You will set up discrimination panels, manage panel recruitment, and coordinate data collection for shelf-life projects.

Formación

• Background in Sensory Science, Food Science, or related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree with a Sensory/Consumer Science focus.
• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team.
• Sound knowledge of basic statistical analysis methods.
• Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines.
• Flexible approach to changing priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fully operational in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Enthusiastic about food.
• Experience using Compusense @Hand is an advantage.
• Experience in a Sensory environment is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Support Discrimination Testing and set up discrimination panels according to test design and project objectives.
• Manage discrimination panel recruitment and testing setup.
• Support data interpretation and report writing.
• Be the sensory contact for the Shelf-Life program and manage SL set up and tracker.
• Set up weekly sensory tests (Compusense) and provide feedback as appropriate.
• Assist with consumer testing activities as needed.
• Coordinate sensory screening for internal and external panels and manage communications with account managers.
