Zusammenfassung

Spark of Genius is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join our Woodside Farm home in Coylton, Ayr KA6. The role involves supervising and mentoring a team, delivering high-quality care to young people and supporting daily routines, activities and reporting.

Applicants must have at least 12 months’ experience in children's residential care, a full UK driving licence, and be able to complete PVG checks.

Qualifikationen

• At least 12 months' experience in children's residential care.
• Experience supporting young people with additional needs.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and childcare legislation including National Care Standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to undergo PVG checks.

• Supervise and mentor a team of Support Workers
• Ensure children receive the highest level of support
• Support home management with timely updates
• Promote individuality and tailored care
• Monitor care plans and produce reports
• Create a warm home environment with light housekeeping
• Build strong relationships and provide emotional support
• Plan and join activities like trips to the park and movie nights
