Job summary

National Instruments in Antrim-Belfast invites applications for a Senior Youth Worker 1 (Specialism). The role runs across designated areas, developing youth work initiatives, assessing young people's needs and delivering a targeted programme in line with the Youth Service Curriculum for Northern Ireland.

You will line-manage up to three full-time equivalents and provide leadership to staff and volunteers, working with partners to deliver cross-border mental health and wellbeing projects,

Qualifications

• Qualified Youth Worker as per JNC guidance.
• Minimum two years' post-qualifying experience managing a Youth Centre or project.
• Experience supervising youth work staff.
• Demonstrable knowledge of IT systems including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop youth work programmes across the designated area.
• Lead and support up to 3 FTE and volunteer groups.
• Engage with PEACEPLUS partners to deliver mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
• Develop annual action plans and contribute to area and strategic plans.
• Ensure compliance with EA policies and procedures.
