East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Workforce Practitioner who is a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional and passionate about clinical workforce development. The role requires collaboration with senior clinical staff and ESNEFT teams to design, implement, and evaluate workforce projects.
The post is 32 hours per week on a permanent basis, with base sites at Colchester or Ipswich Hospitals and cross-site travel as a requirement.
The Clinical Workforce Team has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or AHP who is passionate about clinical workforce to join as a Senior Workforce Practitioner.
We have one 32 hrs permanent position from 4th January 2027.
You will need excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills and the ability to think creatively in order to collaborate with senior clinical staff and ESNEFT recruitment and retention teams to design, implement and evaluate clinical workforce projects.
You will have a working knowledge of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan and NHS People Promise as well as an awareness of national and regional clinical workforce initiatives.
You can choose whether your base site will be Colchester or Ipswich Hospitals however cross site working and travel is a requirement of the role.
