Job summary

TOAST is seeking an experienced Senior Garment Technologist to shape our Womenswear collections, ensuring garments meet our standards of fit, quality and craft. You will lead fit sessions, manage technical development from prototype to production, and collaborate with Design, Buying and Fabric teams to deliver commercially exciting, well-made pieces.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as Garment Technologist in womenswear.
• Expert knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to independently lead fit sessions and make technical decisions.
• Strong supplier management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit sessions independently and drive decisions to meet brand fit standards.
• Act as the technical expert for fit-related issues and provide guidance to the team.
• Manage and communicate all technical aspects from prototype through production.
• Collaborate with Design, Buying, Merchandising and Fabric teams to meet aesthetic and quality objectives.
• Ensure fittings align with seasonal deadlines and critical path.
• Review and approve size specifications, graded measurements and fit comments.
• Identify technical risks and implement solutions for on-time delivery.
• Analyze returns and customer feedback to inform improvements.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, testing requirements and company standards.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.
