Job summary

Experis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Windows / WINTEL Server Engineer to join a major enterprise technology environment. You will work with Solution Architects to scope and design Wintel and VMware solutions, ensuring requests are viable and delivered on time.

The role covers 3rd/4th line support across Windows servers, automation with PowerShell, migrations and upgrades, and hybrid cloud plus on-premises infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proven 3rd/4th Line Infrastructure Support experience.
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 expertise.
• Active Directory design including multi-domain and multi-forest environments.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd and 4th Line support across complex Windows environments.
• Design, build and support Windows Server platforms and automated deployments.
• Develop PowerShell automation and administration solutions.

• GPO, DFS, DHCP, DNS and networking topologies
• IIS, application deployment and infrastructure administration
• VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V and hybrid cloud (Azure/AWS)
• MECM, Intune, Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Current SC Clearance (essential)
