Job summary

Senovo IT Ltd. is seeking a Senior Windows & Linux Engineer for a long-term freelance engagement in Glasgow. The role is hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote per week, initially 12 months, with long-term potential.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Windows Server and Linux experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and expertise in patching, hardening, and system administration. PowerShell and Bash scripting are highly valued, with VMware experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
• Experience with patching, hardening and system administration.
• Automation/scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Experience with VMware or other virtualisation technologies is a plus.
• Experience in energy, utilities, telecommunications or other critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
