Job summary

Camlin is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a small IT team in Lisburn. The role focuses on designing and supporting a Microsoft-based infrastructure across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Intune, AD, and security tools, with on-call rotation and occasional travel to other sites. A strong background in Windows and Linux, PowerShell, and ISO27001 controls is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Systems Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and identity management.
• Proven PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience managing Microsoft Intune and endpoint compliance solutions.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including DNS, DHCP, VPN and TCP/IP.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and ISO27001 controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support resilient on-premises, cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Entra ID.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and Linux systems.
• Administer endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Maintain enterprise networking, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage cybersecurity technologies including Microsoft Defender and Fortinet security solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Monitor, maintain and optimise infrastructure performance, availability and security.
• Implement policies, standards and ISO27001 controls.
