Job summary

Global Wind Service (UK) Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead wind turbine service and maintenance projects from mobilisation through delivery, close-out and continuous improvement. You will coordinate technicians, site teams, customers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and commercially sound execution.

Qualifications

• At least three years of progressive project management experience within wind energy.
• Experience delivering multi-disciplinary maintenance scopes with customers and subcontractors.
• Strong technical understanding of wind turbine systems and maintenance activities.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, schedules, risks and changes.
• Commitment to safe delivery in a high-risk environment; proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead service and maintenance projects from mobilisation through execution and close-out.
• Plan preventive, corrective and campaign maintenance activities balancing priorities.
• Own project scope, programme, budget, forecast and commercial performance.
• Translate requirements into practical delivery plans and work packages.
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, equipment, materials and vendors.
• Work with technical teams to manage defects and return-to-service activities.
• Ensure work complies with contracts, legislation and wind-industry standards.
• Champion safety culture with risk assessments, permits and toolbox talks.
• Maintain complete project documentation and provide regular progress reports.
• Build customer relationships, manage expectations and identify improvement opportunities.
