Job summary

Diageo's Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye is seeking a Senior Operator to lead safe, efficient whisky production. This permanent role involves overseeing site production activities, optimizing processes, and hands-on operation within a collaborative team.

You will join Supply Chain & Manufacturing, work on shift patterns across a 24/7 site, and play a key part in safety, quality, and performance. The package includes pension, shares scheme and a bonus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Food & Drink, Brewing or Distilling is advantageous.
• Full training and support will be provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimise whisky production processes to maximise performance.
• Champion site safety standards and maintain excellent housekeeping practices.
• Collaborate with Senior Operators and Engineers to resolve issues and improve ways of working.
• Maintain accurate production records through automated and manual systems.
• Perform quality checks and support compliance across the production process.
• Carry out autonomous maintenance activities, including inspection and lubrication of equipment.
