Job summary

Ross Care is recruiting for a senior OT/PT to manage a highly specialist wheelchair service caseload, providing clinical input and leadership within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves travel to schools, hospitals, care homes and service users’ homes, with a focus on safe, patient-centred outcomes.

You will supervise junior staff, participate in policy development, and ensure compliance with HCPC requirements and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience in wheelchair services and postural support.
• Ability to supervise junior staff and lead clinical teams.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and referrers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a highly specialist wheelchair service caseload for children and adults.
• Provide clinical input and deliver outcomes within contractual standards.
• Supervise and develop junior staff; participate in performance monitoring.
• Coordinate clinics in community settings and liaise with families and carers.
• Ensure safe clinic environments and maintain HCPC standards and safeguarding.
