Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist (Paediatric) to manage a varied paediatric caseload across family homes and education settings. Qualifications

Graduate Diploma or BSc Occupational Therapy recognised by HCPC.
HCPC registration is required.
Active collection of relevant CPD in portfolio.
Experience as a qualified Occupational Therapist.
Core rotations in Orthopaedics, Medical/Frailty Inpatients, Neurological Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

Assesses and treats own paediatric caseload and maintains records.
Supervise junior staff, students, and other staff in this speciality.
Participate as a member of the therapy team and MDT within the clinical area.
Maintain CPD and undertake developmental activities.
Assist in audits, research, or service development activity.
